As innovation scientist, I am interested in the role of technology in society. In my work I focus on a wide range of topics such as telecom, internet of things, cyber security and smart cities. My main expertise lies within the realm of broadband and innovation policy.

A large part of my work is providing strategic advice in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of ICT and telecommunications policy. I do this for various provinces and municipalities. In addition, I have a strong academic background in innovation policy and knowledge of open innovation, incubators, change management, roadmaps, business strategy and evaluation studies. In these fields I have carried out work for Flemish and Dutch ministries (AO, Education, Culture & Science, Economic Affairs, Security & Justice).

I gained my bachelor of technical innovation sciences and master of innovations sciences degrees in the south of the Netherlands, at Eindhoven University of Technology and also did a master of management program at Hasselt University in Belgium. I enjoy yoga, camping and cabaret.
