My name is Niels Nederlof and I work as a junior researcher/advisor at Dialogic from October 2022. Although my interests are broad, I will mainly be active in the Education domain.

This domain is also in line with my (study) background. I simultaneously followed and completed without delay the WO studies Dutch Language & Culture and Linguistics at Utrecht University (UU). I wanted to learn to use this broad (linguistic) knowledge for the benefit of social practice. For this reason, I chose the master’s in Multilingualism & Language Acquisition (UU). I completed this master cum laude. Then I worked for 2,5 years at the lectorate Multilingualism & Education of Hogeschool Utrecht (HU) before I started working at Dialogic. The way of working at Dialogic really appeals to me: linking scientific theory and social practice in order to come to advice on socially relevant issues.

In addition to a passion for language and for research, I have a passion for soccer. I am a youth scout for Ajax.
