From February to September 2019 I wrote my graduation thesis at Dialogic: a multi-criteria mapping study in which I investigated which university policy options can best enhance the social impact of academic research according to its stakeholders. From December 2019 I have been working at Dialogic as a junior research / advisor. I mainly focus on innovation policy, science policy and education, but I also like to learn in other areas such as culture, digitization and care.

After completing my Bachelor in Industrial Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology and a gap year within a student team, I studied the master Innovation Sciences at Utrecht University. During both studies I have gained a lot of knowledge about business efficiency and business innovation, but also about the broader development and functioning of innovation within and between different parties, using qualitative and quantitative research methods to understand and map these developments.

I live in Rotterdam, where I take dance lessons and practice yoga in my spare time. During the weekend I like to cook a great meal, walk through nature and the city of Rotterdam, and to read a good book.
